Dear UFCW Local 1428 Albertsons, Ralphs and Vons Members: After months of negotiating with your employers we are pleased to present to you a contract that all 7 locals are recommending for ratification. This contract represents what standing strong can accomplish. I want to thank all of our members who worked so hard tabling, walking neighborhoods, wearing stickers and educating their co-workers. This contract would not have been accomplished without each of you. I am proud of all the member volunteers from Local 1428. Voting will be as follows: MASTER FOOD CONTRACT VOTE MEETINGS DATE: Sunday, July 22, 2007 TIMES: 9 AM, 1 PM and 7 PM LOCATION: The Shilo Inn Pomona Hilltop Suites (Directions on Reverse Side) Temple Avenue & 57 Freeway, Pomona NO WALK THROUGH VOTING – VOTING WILL OCCUR ONLY AFTER EACH MEETING MANDATORY ATTENDANCE It is imperative that everyone participate in this critical vote, car pool if you can. SEE YOU ON SUNDAY - JULY 22!! Please bring this color-coded letter and a form of photo ID with you to the meeting to exchange for your ballot after the meeting. From I-10: Take 57 Freeway South to Temple Street Exit. From I-60: Take 57 Freeway North to the Temple Street Exit. From 210 Freeway: Take 57 Freeway South to Temple Street Exit. The hotel is right off the 57 Hwy, on the west side of 57 Freeway.
