2006 Lump Sum Bonus
Each bargaining unit
employee who was on the payroll as of October 6, 2003, and is actively
employed on the date of payment of this bonus, shall receive a bonus,
as follows:
Food Clerks - All
eligible employees shall receive thirty cents (30¢) for each hour for
which the employee was compensated for the fifty-two (52) calendar
weeks preceding March 6, 2006.
G.M.Clerks - All
eligible employees shall receive thirty cents (30¢) for each hour for
which the employee was compensated for the fifty-two (52) calendar
weeks preceding March 6, 2006.
Clerk's Helpers -
All eligible employees shall receive fifteen cents (15¢) for each hour
for which the employee was compensated for the fifty-two (52) calendar
weeks preceding March 6, 2006.
This bonus will be paid no
later than thirty (30) days from March 6, 2006 to employees who are
actively employed on that date or thirty (30) days from when an
employee returns to work from an approved leave of absence or layoff
provided, however, the employee returns to work prior to the
expiration of this agreement.
The
above bonuses shall not become part of the contractual straight-time
hourly rates of pay set forth in this Agreement and no benefit
contributions shall be made, increased or changed because the Employer
provided these bonuses.
Bonuses in 2006 are only for employees hired prior to October 6, 2003.
